The trip planner that already knows your RV.

Enter your RV once. Wayfinder sends its height with every route request and, where a campground publishes its length limits, shows whether your RV fits.

Nobody should find out mid-trip that their RV won't fit.

Car navigation doesn't know your height. RV directories don't know your route. So the work of reconciling the two falls on you, at the worst possible moment.

The 40-mile detour

You drive off-route to a "perfect" campground and discover it can't take your length.

The seven open tabs

Maps in one, campground directory in another, fuel prices in a third — and nothing talks to anything else.

The specs you retype

Every tool asks for your length and height again, then ignores half of it when it plans your route.

The Wayfinder spine

Five stages. One continuous journey.

Wayfinder isn't a menu of features you navigate. Each stage opens naturally into the next, carrying your context forward — and when a trip ends, it opens back into the next one.

STAGE 01 · OPENNESS

Trip context

Your RV and your last trip are already on screen. Nothing to re-enter.

STAGE 02 · DISCOVERY

Plan route

Distance, drive time and what waits along the way — with RV fit shown wherever a campground publishes its length limits.

STAGE 03 · TRUST

Explore stops

Stops along each stretch of your route, nearest to the route first.

STAGE 04 · MOMENTUM

Ready to roll

Your route, fuel and stops, checked before you go.

STAGE 05 · GUIDED CONFIDENCE

Travel day

“What do I need right now?” The next turn, how far, and when you'll arrive, with one alert at a time when something needs you. Warm, open planning gives way to a dark, focused cockpit.

The largest stage holds the least on screen. Sparseness is a feature, not a gap.

Each stage opens into the next — and the last one opens back into the first

Inside the app

Warm and open while you plan. Dark and quiet while you drive.

The interface changes register with the job. Planning is spacious. Travel day is a cockpit.

Stage 02 · Discovery

Distance, drive time and what's along the way, before you commit to the route.

Stage 03 · Trust

The mark means every RV site was checked against your length. No mark, no claim.

Stage 05 · Guided confidence

The next turn, never cut short, and the numbers that matter. Sparseness is a feature, not a gap.

RV fit

Will this campground take your RV?

Where a campground publishes the length limit of each RV site, Wayfinder checks every site against your RV's length, and the card says in words what it checked.

✓

Fits

Every RV site takes your length. The card carries the mark and says “Fits your 32 ft length.”

Doesn't fit

Every limit is published and none takes your length. In each stretch of the route these campgrounds sit together behind one row, never hidden.

Not checked

The campground doesn't publish its limits, or you haven't saved a length. No mark, and no guess.

This isn't a rating, a review or a safety check. It checks campgrounds against your RV's length, and nothing else.

What's in Wayfinder 1.0

RV-aware routing

Routes are requested with your real height, so the routing engine can steer around low clearances where its data has them.

Turn-by-turn on the road

Directions with the next turn always shown in full, from the start of the drive to the last mile.

Range on the road

Add your tank size and MPG, and Wayfinder shows an estimate of the miles you have left while you drive. For an electric rig, add its range on a full charge.

Curated stops

Campgrounds, fuel or charging, food, supplies, military stops and rest areas along each stretch of your route, nearest to the route first — never ordered by who paid.

Trips that persist

Plan in February, drive in June. Saved trips keep their stops, ready when you are.

Your specs, entered once

Full-timers, snowbirds, families and boondockers — one profile, carried silently through every screen.

You subscribe here, on the website. Your plan renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; it runs to the end of the period you paid for. When the free period or a subscription ends, the app keeps your trips and RV, and you can still look around Explore and preview a route on the map; its stops, saving a trip and starting a drive wait until you subscribe. Prices in US dollars, before any tax.

Who builds it

Built by one RVer, for the road he drives.

I got tired of finding out mid-trip that a campground wouldn't fit, so I started building the thing I wanted.

I'm a retired US Army & Army National Guard officer and combat veteran, and I've stayed at FamCamps across the country. Planning those trips meant stitching together tools that didn't know my RV, so I built one that does.

Built from the driver's seat

Wayfinder is made by an RV traveler, not a travel-tech company. Every feature answers a problem hit on an actual road.

Your location stays yours

Wayfinder uses your location while the app is open. A trip you save keeps its places, and deleting the trip removes them. Recent stop searches are kept on your phone to load faster. Read the Privacy Policy.

No black boxes

Mapbox for maps, routing and the places along your route; Firebase for accounts and storage; Recreation.gov for campground data; US Department of War installation locations, via the U.S. DOT; NHTSA for looking up your RV by its VIN; Stripe for payments. The stack is stated plainly, and so are its limits.

Your next trip is already half planned.

Download Wayfinder, enter your RV once, and plan your first trip. Subscribe here when you're ready.
